The HCS Family Association

Background

At a previous reunion, we introduced the concept of an organized Family Association that would help create a thriving, unified, interconnected community of descendants of the Hannibal-Creft-Stateman (HCS) lineages. This body would aim to preserve and teach our history, it would provide a platform for continued communication, sharing of information, networking, mentorship and bonding, and it could subsidize and elevate future family reunions/gatherings. That presentation had a very positive reception at the time. Follow-up questionnaires confirmed that there is a general excitement and support for the idea, even at a small cost. Thus, a few of us set about to try to make this a reality.
